THEATRICAL WORK
In addition to my more tangible work with engineering and artistic design projects, I spend a significant portion of my time working on theatrical productions with various student theatrical groups at Rice University. I have experience both on and off-stage, working on productions in positions including actor, director, production manager, production consultant, et cetera.

Most of my experience comes from directing short one-act plays through the Rice Players' "Play in a Day" festival, in which students work to write, rehearse, memorize, and perform original plays within a single 24-hour period. This experience made me uniquely qualified to student-direct Wiess College's spring 2020 production of Hello, Hamlet, an original full-length musical parody of Shakespeare's Hamlet. This musical has been revamped and restaged every four years at Wiess College since 1968, and I am so fortunate to be able to direct the 2020 iteration my senior year.

Below are still images from the productions I have worked on while at Rice. (I apologize for the photo quality, but the majority of these images were taken from live performances or recordings.)
